Directorate of School Education (DSE), Government of Nagaland invites applications from eligible indigenous inhabitants of Nagaland for recruitment to the posts of Graduate Teacher (Mathematics, Science and Hindi) under the Department of School Education for a period of 1( one ) year or till the posts are filled through regular recruitment whichever is earlier.

Details of DSE Nagaland Recruitment 2022 for Graduate Teacher – 213 vacancies

1. Name of Post: GT (Maths)

No. of Post: 63

Requisite Qualifications:
i) Graduate/ Post Graduate(or equivalent ) in Mathematics with at least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post Graduation from a recognized university AND
ii) B. Ed/ B. Sc. Ed from any National Council of Teachers Education recognised institution..

2. Name of Post: GT (Science)

No. of Post: 92

Requisite Qualifications:
i) Graduate/Post Graduate(or equivalent ) in Science with at least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post Graduation from a recognized university AND
ii) B. Ed/ B. Sc. Ed from any National Council of Teachers Education recognised institution.

3. Name of post: GT (Hindi)

No. of Post: 58

Requisite Qualifications:
i) Graduate / Post Graduate(or equivalent ) with at least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post Graduation with Hindi as an elective subject at the Bachelor’s degree level from a recognized university AND
ii) B. Ed, B. A. Ed/ B. Sc. Ed from any National Council of Teachers Education recognised institution.

Pay Scale: Level 9 under ROP 2017 (Pre-revised P.B 5200- 20200. GP-3400)

Age Limit: Minimum 21 Years and Maximum- 30 Years
There is relaxation of upper age limi.

Selection Process:
(a) Selection of candidates in order of merit shall be on the basis of performance of candidates in Academic Records and Written Examination with following weightage:

Academic Records: 40%
Written Examination& Viva-Voce: 60%

(b) The weightage for academic records for all categories of Graduate Teachers shall be provided under:
1) HSLC Examination: 10% of the aggregate marks
2) 10+2 Examination: l5% of the aggregate marks
3) Degree Level Examination: 35% of the aggregate marks
4) B.Ed.: 35% of the aggregate marks
5) Honours or Higher Qualifications like PG/M.Phil/Ph.D: 5% of the aggregate marks.

Final Merit List will be prepared on the basis of the academic records of the candidates and performance in the written examination and Viva-Voce.

Examination Fee: Rs.400 (Rupees four hundred only) to be paid at the time of submission of application form

Exam Centre: At Kohima only

How to Apply:
Application Forms may be downloaded from https://education.nagaland.gov.in/ or https;//dosenl.in/ and the duly filled in application forms along with along with the required fee may be submitted at Room No. 318 at the Directorate of School Education, Kohima, Nagaland from 21-03-2022 to 20-04-2022.

Candidates must submit self-attested Photostat copies of the following documents along with the Application Form:-
(a) 1 (one) recent passport size photograph with full name printed at the bottom.
(b) Admit Card of HSLC/Equivalent Examination for proof of Date of Birth. No other Certificate will be accepted for age proof.
(c) Mark Sheets of HSLC, HSSLC, B.A/B.Sc. (Or equivalent), B.Ed./B.A. Ed/B.Sc. Ed, M.A/M.Sc (Or equivalent), till highest qualification.
(d) Pass Certificates of HSLC, HSSLC, B.A/B.Sc. (Or equivalent), B.Ed./B.A. Ed/B.Sc. Ed, M.A/M.Sc. (Or equivalent), till highest qualification. In absence of Pass Certificate/Degree issued by the University, candidates may submit Provisional Pass Certificate issued by the Board/University.
(e) Central/State Teacher Eligibility Test Certificate (if qualified).
(f) For candidates with disabilities, Certificate of Disability issued by the Competent Authority as per Rule 18 of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2017 in the prescribed format.
(g) Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate (IIC), SC/ST & BT (if applicable) Certificates. Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate, SC/ST & BT Certificates signed by District Authorities not below the rank of Additional Deputy Commissioner will only be accepted.

(h) Candidates who are in Government Service should submit “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” duly signed by the Head of the Department, with Name and Office Seal as per the format given in Annexure.
(i) Candidates selected in the merit list must bring the Originals of all documents stated above for verification at specified date which will be notified.

♦ Date of Written Examination: Will be notified through Media.
