Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Sikkim invites applications eligible local candidates having qualifications and possessing the requisite documents for walk-in for interview for appointment of Medical Officer, Staff Nurse, Operation Theater Technician, Orthopedic Plaster Technician, Multi Tasking Staff and Medical Attendant in Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Sikkim for level II STNM Hospital, Sochakgang and level III Trauma Care Centers at District Hospitals under the Centrally Sponsored Funded Scheme for a period of 03 (three) years purely on contractual basis. The total no. of vacancies is 117.

1. Name of the Post: Medical Officer
No of Post: 9
Qualification: A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery Degree from any recognized university and completed rotator internship of one year from a MCI recognized institution and registered with Medical Council of India or Medical Council of the State.
Remuneration: Rs. 55, 000 per month
2. Name of the Post: Staff Nurse
No of Post: 49
Qualification: Class XII passed from a recognised board with minimum Diploma in General Nurse and Midwifery Training with minimum period of 03 (three) years from any recognised institute and registration with Sikkim Nursing Council
Remuneration: Rs. 18, 000 per month
3. Name of the Post: Operation Theater Technician
No of Post: 10
Qualification: Class XII Science from a recognized board with Diploma in Operation Theater Technology with minimum period of 02 (two) years from any recognized institute
Remuneration: Rs. 15, 000 per month
4. Name of the Post: Orthopedic Plaster Technician
No of Post: 9
Qualification: Class XII passed from a recognized board with certificate course in Orthopedic Plaster Technician / experience certificate as Orthopedic Plaster Technician
Remuneration: Rs. 12, 000 per month
5. Name of the Post: Multi Tasking Staff
No of Post: 20
Qualification: Class VIII passed
Remuneration: Rs. 9, 000 per month
6. Name of the Post: Medical Attendant
No of Post: 20 (Male : 10 & Female : 10)
Qualification: Class VIII passed
Remuneration: Rs. 9, 000 per month
Age: 18 years to 40 years as on 31st October, 2021

(i) Sikkim Subject Certificate/ Certificate of Identification
(ii) Community Certificate
(iii) Valid Employment Card
(iv) Degree from MCI recognized Universities alongwith Internship Completion Certificate (for the post of Medical Officer)
(v) Registration Certificate with the respective Council (for the post of Medical Officer and Staff Nurse)
(vi) Diploma in respective field (for the post of Staff Nurse and OT Technician)
(vii) Class X & XII passed marksheet and certificate
(viii) Minimum Class VIII passed marksheet and certificate (for the post of Multi Tasking Staff and Medical Attendant)
(ix) Certificate Course/ experience certificate for the post of Orthopedic Plaster Technician
