Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Manipur invites applications in prescribed format from willing and eligible candidates for recruitment of posts of Stenographer-Grade-III, LDA/Office Assistant, Driver, Grade IV/Peon, Sweeper and Chowkidar in Social Welfare Department on temporary basis through sponsorship of Concerned Employment Exchange Offices, Manipur. The total no of vacant post is 50.

1. Name of Post: Stenographer-Grade-III

No. of Post: 4

Qualification:
i) Graduate
ii) Passed short hand examination conducted by an institute recognized by the Government of Manipur
iii) Knowledge or qualification in computer operation.

Pay scale: Level in pay Matrix- 3

2. Name of Post: LDA / Office Assistant

No. of Post: 14

Qualification: Graduate who have completed a Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) (DOS + windows + MS Office + Multimedia + + Interest) of a Central / State recognized Institute.

Pay scale: Level in pay Matrix- 4

3. Name of Post: Driver

No. of Post: 4

Qualification:
i) Class-X pass / Matriculate / HSLC from a recognized Board/institution.
ii) Driving experience for 3 years possessing requisite driving licence.

Desirable: Knowledge of Manipuri & Hindi.

Pay scale: Level in pay Matrix- 3

4. Name of Post: Grade IV / Peon

Qualification: At least HSLC or its equivalent from a recognized Board / institute.

Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi, Good Physique and Knowledge of cycling.

5. Name of the Post: Sweeper

Qualification:At least HSLC or its equivalent from a recognized Board/institute

Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi and Good Physique.

Age Limit: 38 years & below.
Upper age limit is relaxable for Govt. Servants as per rules:
♦ 5 yrs. relaxation for SC & ST candidate (i.e. 43 yrs.)
♦ 3 yrs. for OBC Candidates (i.e. 41 years)
♦ PWD 48 years.

Rate of prescribed application form:
