Directorate of Handlooms & Textiles, Government of Manipur has extended the dates of sponsoring of candidates by Employment is hereby extended upto 23/10/2021 and online submission of application is also extended upto 27/10/2021 for the recruitment of various posts at Manipur Directorate of Handlooms & Textiles. The recruitment of the posts are Instructor, Supervisor, Skilled Artisan, Grade-IV, Stenographer / Personal Assistant, LDC and Driver. The total no of vacancies is 25.

1. Name of the Post: Instructor (Brass & Bell Metal)
No. of Post: 1 [UR]
Qualification: 1) Matriculate/HSLC or its equivalent from a recognized University/Board.
2) Trained in Foundry and Brass & Bell Metal from a recognized Institution.
3) Preference will be given to those have at least 2 (two) years’ experience in the line.
Age limit: 30 years and below.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.2400/-.

2. Name of the Post: Supervisor (Carpet)
No. of Post: 1 [UR]
Qualification: 1) Matriculate/HSLC or its equivalent from a recognized University/Board.
2) Diploma course in concerned trade from a recognized Institute.
3) At least one year experience in the trade from a recognized Institute.
Age limit: 30 years and below.
Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi & Manipuri.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.2400/-

3. Name of the Post: Skilled Artisan/Dem (Doll & Toys)
No. of Post: 1 [UR]
Qualification: Matriculate / HSLC or its equivalent and passed Artisan course in the trade concerned from a recognized Institute.
Or
Passed Class-VIII and passed Artisan course in the trade concerned from a recognized Institute and having experience for 5 (five) years in the concerned trade from a recognized Institute.
Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi & Manipuri.
Age limit: 30 years and below.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.1800/- (GP Rs.1900 for Matriculate).

4. Name of the Post: Skilled Artisan / Dem (Pina)

Qualification: Matriculate/HSLC or its and passed Artisan course in the trade concerned from a recognized Institute.
Or
Passed Class-VIII and passed Artisan course in the trade concerned from a recognized Institute and having experience for 5 (five) years in the concerned trade from a recognized Institute.
Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi & Manipuri.

5. Name of the Post: Skilled Artisan/Dem (Wood Carving)

Qualification: Matriculate/HSLC or its equivalent and passed Artisan course in the trade concerned from a recognized Institute.
Or
Passed Class-VIII and passed Artisan course in the trade concerned from a recognized Institute and having experience for 5 (five) years in the concerned trade from a recognized Institute.

Passed Class-VIII and Artisan course in the trade concerned from a recognized Institute and having experience for 5 (five) years in the concerned trade from a recognized Institute.

7. Name of the Post: Grade-IV / Peon / Chowkidar / MTS
No. of Posts: 9 [UR: 06, ST: 02, OBC-M: 01]
Qualification: HSLC / Equivalent.
Desirable: 1) Knowledge of Hindi
2) Good Physique
3) Knowledge of cyclostyles
Age limit: 30 years and below
Pay Scale: Rs.4440-7440 + GP Rs.1300/-

8. Name of the Post: Stenographer / Personal Assistant / Steno-Typists Grade-III
No. of Post: 1 [UR]
Qualification: 1) Matriculate or its equivalent with speed below 80 words per minute and not below 65 words per minute in shorthand (English) and a speed not less than 30 words per minute in typing (English) (Relaxable for SC/ST candidates up to 60 words per minute in shorthand and 25 words per minute in typing).
2) Educational or other qualification relaxable in respect of physically handicapped persons according to Govt. instruction issued from time to time.
Age limit: 30 years and below
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.1900/-

9. Name of the Post: LDC
No. of Posts: 7 [UR: 04, ST: 02, OBC-M: 01]
Qualification: 1) Graduate who have completed a Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) IDOS + Windows + MS Office + Multimedia + Internet) of a Central/State recognized Institute.
2) Candidates for direct recruitment should come through the Employment Exchanges and qualify in the recruitment examination to be held by the Department.
Age limit: 18 – 38 years
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.2000/-

10. Name of the Post: Driver (Light)
No. of Post: 01 [UR]
Qualification: 1) Class-X pass/Matriculate/HSLC/Equivalent from a recognized Board/Institution.
2) Driving experience for 3 (three) years possessing requisite driving license.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.1900/-
Age limit: 21 – 38 years
