DC South West Khasi Hills District Notification No.DSC. 1/2006/2012/120
The District Selection Committee, South West Khasi Hills District, Mawkyrwat invites online applications from genuine citizens of India for the Grade III posts of Typist and Mechanic. 1. Name of the Post: Typist
No of Post: 1
Minimum Educational Qualification: SSLC (Class X) passed.
Remarks / Experience: Computer knowledge with typing speed of not less than 30 words per minute.
Pay: Level – 4 (As per Pay Matrix of the Revised Pay Structure of the Meghalaya Fifth Pay Commission)
2. Name of the Post: Mechanic
No of Post: 1
Minimum Educational Qualification: Class VIII Passed with certificate passed in mechanic Trade from ITI.
Pay: Level – 4 (As per Pay Matrix of the Revised Pay Structure of the Meghalaya Fifth Pay Commission)
Age Limit: Candidate should not be Jess than 18 years and not more than 27 years in age as on 1st January, 2021. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC / ST candidates . The date of birth to be accepted is as entered in the Matriculation / Secondary School Leaving Certificate or a certificate issued by the institutions recognized by the Govt. of Meghalaya as equivalent to Matriculation or an extract from the official Registers duly certified by the proper authority of the Board of School Education. Proof other than these will not be accepted. No age bar in respect of regular Government employee, who entered Government service within the prescribed age limit.
Application Fee: Applicants may pay the fee of Rs. l00.00 (Rs. 50.00 for ST/SC) for each post, using payment modes of – Internet Banking and Credit card / Debit Cards of major nationalized banks.
Candidates may opt for cash payment at any branch of SBI. For cash payment, select “Payment across Bank Counter”. An e-challan will be generated. Take a print out of the e-challan and make the required payment at any branch of SBI. Candidates need not submit the e-challan to the DSC. However, candidates are advised to keep a copy of the receipt after payment and produce it at a later stage if required.
For Persons with Physical Disabilities (PWDs), Application / Examination fee is exempted.
The candidate may have to pay additional Bank Charges, which may be applicable depending on each mode of payment.
Method of Examination of DC South West Khasi Hills District Recruitment 2021 for Typist and Mechanic: Written Examination shall be as per the following syllabus —
(a) General English – 70 Marks
(b) Elementary Mathematics / Elementary Science & Aptitude – 130 Marks (including 30 marks for Aptitude)
(c) General Knowledge -70 Marks
(d) Interview – 30 Marks
Total – 300 Marks
The Written Examination will be conducted on Multiple Choice OMR Based Test.
