Department of Education Manipur Notification No: AO/266/AHLT/2021(2)-DE(S) / 15th October 2021
With reference to the earlier Notification No: AO/266/AHLT/2021(2)-DE(S) / 17th February 2021, (Read: Manipur Education Department Recruitment 2021 for 454 Hindi Graduate and Primary Teachers), the Department of Education Manipur has notified for general information that the number of posts for engagement of 301 Hindi Primary Teachers on contract basis has been increased to 449 (301+148). The reservation of posts shall be 226 for UR, 56 for OBC (M), 18 for OBC (MP), 2 for OBC (others), 8 for SC, and 139 for ST. Also, applicants who have not passed TET can also apply as the Government has exempted the requirement of TET as a onetime measure vide its letter No.SM3- 301/10/2021-EDN(S)-EDN(S) dated 14th October,2021. Other eligibility criteria remain the same as notified earlier.
Application in prescribed format is invited from willing and eligible candidates for the said posts Format for the Application can be downloaded from the Official Website of the Department www.manipureducation.gov.in. Duly filled in application forms may be submitted at the Conference Hall of the Directorate of Education (S), Lamphelpat, Imphal West during office hours on all working days from 16th to 25th October, 2021.

1. Name of Post: Hindi Graduate Teacher
No of Post: 153 (Reservation Category: UR-77, OBC(M)-20, OBC(P)-6 OBC(O)-D, SC-3, ST-47)
Remuneration: Minimum of PB+GP+ PBH i.e. Rs 5200+2800+22,000-Rs. 30,000
Eligibility Criteria: a) Graduate/Post Graduate with Hindi as one of the subject from recognized University with at least 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or its equivalent or Hindi Shikshan Parangat from National Council for Teacher Education recognized Institution.
OR
b) Graduate / Post Graduate with Hindi as one of the subject from recognized University with at least 45% mark in either Graduation or Post Graduation or its equivalent and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or its equivalent or Hindi Shikshan Parangat from National Council of Education recognized Institution [in accordance with the National Council of Teacher Education (Form of Application for recognition, the time limit of submission of Application, determination of Norms and standards for recognition of teacher education programmes and permission to Start new course or training) regulations, 2002 notified on 13/11/2002 and National Council of Teacher Education(recognition Norms and procedures) regulations 2007 notified on 10/12/2007.

c) Four year degree of B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed. in Hindi from any National Council of Teacher Education recognized Institution.
2. Name of the Post: Hindi Primary Teacher
No of Post: 301 (Reservation Category: UR-151, OBC (M)-38, OBC(P)-12, OBC (O)-1 SC-6, 5T-93)
Remuneration: Minimum of PB+GP+PBH i.e. Rs 5200+2400+22,400= Rs. 30,000
Eligibility Criteria: 1. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with Hindi as one of the subject with at least 50% marks and Two Year Diploma in Elementary Education by whatever name known)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Two Year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) and Rashtrabhasa Kovid or its equivalent from a recognized Institute.
OR
Senior Secondary (o, its equivalent) with Hindi as one of the subject with at least 45% marks and Two Year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with NCTE (recogntion norms and procedure), regulations 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with Hindi as one of the subject with at least 50% marks and Four Year Bachelor of elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with Hindi as one of the subject with at least 50% marks and Two Year Diploma in Education(special Education) and
2. Passed in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET I), to be conducted by appropriate Government in accordance with the
guidelines framed by NCTE for the purpose.
Age Limit: The age limit for the candidates shall be 18-38 years as on 16/02/2021.
Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 3 years for OBC Candidates and 5 years for ST / SC Candidates. For PWD & Meritorious Sports Person Candidates also, additional relaxation as permissible under rules shall apply.
Application Fee: Rs.400/- for General and OBC, Rs. 300/-for SC and ST should be submitted to the Directorate of Education(S), Lamphelpat from 17/02/2021 to 03/03/2021.
Application fees for PWD Candidates will be exempted. However, supporting Certificates should be attached.
Mode of selection: Written test only
Scheme of Examination: The examination question paper will consist of 100 Multiple choice Questions (MCQ) carrying equal weightage for Hindi Primary Teachers and Hindi Graduate Teachers.
Subject: General Knowledge & Current Affairs and Hindi
Number of Questions: 50 + 50 = 100
No. of Marks: 50 + 50 = 100
Test Duration: 1 and half hour
Syllabus: General Knowledge and Current Affairs — Important Days, Indian History, Books and Authors, Indian National Movement, Awards and Honours, Budget and Five Year Plans, General Polity, Current Affairs – National & International, Indian Economy, Capitals of India, International & National Organizations, Science – Inventions & Discoveries, Science & Technology, Sports, Abbreviations, Countries & Capitals.
Hindi Subject — Syllabus shall be up to the level of 10th & 12th Standard for Hindi Primary Teachers and Hindi Graduate Teachers respectively.
How to Apply: Duly filled in application in the prescribed form along with relevant documents duly attested / self-attested and application fees should be submitted to the Directorate of Education (S), Lamphelpat from 17/02/2021 to 03/03/2021.
