The District Selection Committee, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat, invites online application from Permanent residents of Meghalaya for the recruitment of Grade 3 posts – Tracer, LDA cum Typist, Gram Sevak, Sectional Assistant, Typist and Grade 4 posts – Driver, Soil & Water Conservation Field Worker and Chainman /Khalasi / Chowkidar /Peon / Sweeper Cum Cleaner.

For Grade-III Posts:
1. Name of the Post: Tracer

Qualification: HSSLC Passed.
Pay: Level-6
2. Name of the Post: LDA cum Typist
No. of Posts: 9
Qualification: SSLC / HSSLC Passed with Knowledge of Computer & Typing Speed will be conducted of 30wpm (words per minute)
Pay: Level-5
3. Name of the Post: Gram Sevak
No. of Posts: 5
Qualification: SSLC / HSSLC Passed (Only Male Candidate), Physical Test will be conducted.
Pay: Level-5
4. Name of the Post: Gram Sevika
No. of Posts: 2
Qualification: SSLC / HSSLC Passed (Only Female Candidate), Physical Test will be conducted.
Pay: Level-5
5. Name of the Post: Sectional Assistant (S.A.)
No. of Posts: 3
Qualification: SSLC / HSSLC Passed.

6. Name of the Post: Typist

For Grade-IV Posts:
1. Name of the Post: Driver

Qualification: Class VIII Passed having valid Professional Driver Licence & Driving Test will be conducted. (Male candidate only).
Pay: Level-3
2. Name of the Post: Soil & Water Conservation Field Worker
No. of Post: 1
Qualification: SSLC Passed (Male Candidate Only)
Pay: Level-2
3. Name of the Post: Chainman / Khalasi / Chowkidar / Peon / Sweeper cum Cleaner (Indoor Ward)
No. of Posts: 11
Qualification: Class VIII Passed. For Chainman & Khalasi (Only Male Candidate)
Pay: Level-1
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 1st January, 2021. There is a relaxation as per rule.
Mode of Selection: Common Written Examination
Subjects of Written Examination:
For Grade-III Posts: PAPER-I: General English (70 Marks, Time: 1 Hour),
PAPER-II: Elementary Mathematics/Elementary Science / Aptitude (Objective) / General Knowledge (200 Marks, Time: 2 ½ Hours
For Grade-IV Posts: PAPER-I: General Knowledge (50 Marks, Time: 1 Hour)
Examination Fee: Examination fee of Rs.100/- (Rs.50/- for ST / SC who are permanent resident of Meghalaya) shall be paid through online mode only using the payment gateways —
a) Debit cum ATM cards/Credit cards/Net banking.
b) E-Challan (Cash payment)
