Army Recruitment Rally under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Chennai will be conducted by Recruiting Office (Headquarters), Chennai from 07 Jun 2019 to 17 Jun 2019 at BHARATHI STADIUM, NEYVELI (TN) to enroll eligible candidates into the Army from seven districts of Tamilnadu viz Cuddalore, Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Chennai, Tiruvallur, Villupuram, Kancheepuram and Puducherry dist of Puducherry (UT).
The details of the recruitment are as follows:
Name of the posts: Soldier Technical, Soldier Technical (Aviation / Ammunition Examiner), Soldier Nursing Assistant, Soldier Clerk and Store Keeper Technical, Soldier General Duty and Soldier Tradesman
Qualifications:
Soldier Technical: 10+2/Intermediate Examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Age: 17 years 06 months to 23 years.
Soldier Technical (Aviation / Ammunition Examiner): 10+2 / lntermediate exam pass in science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
Age: 17 years 06 months to 23 years.
Soldier Nursing Assistant: 10+2 / Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and Minimum 40% marks in each subject.
Age: 17 years 06 months to 23 years.
Soldier General Duty : Class 10th / Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading sys. Min of D Grade (33-40) in indl subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
Age: 17 years 06 months to 21 years.
Soldier Tradesman: 8th Class Pass:
(i) Class 8th simple pass (for Syce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper)
(ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
10th Class Pass:
(i) Class 10th simple pass
(ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored
minimum 33% in each subject.
Age: 17 years 06 months to 23 years.
Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical: 10+2 / Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% marks in each subject. Securing 50% marks in English and Maths / Accounts / Book Keeping in class 12th is mandatory.
Age: 17 years 06 months to 23 years.
Selection Process : Selection will be based on the basis of the physical fitness test, physical measurement test, medical examination and written test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
