Transport Department, Govt. of Manipur invites applications from the willing and eligible candidates in the prescribed format direct recruitment to the 118 posts of Sub- Inspector (Enforcement), Assistant Sub-Inspector (Taxes), Assistant Sub- Inspector (Enforcement), LDC ( Office Assistant cum Computer Operator), Driver, Checker, Peon, Chowkidar on temporary basis.

The Eligible Age, Scheme of Examination, Mode of Selection, Examination Fee structure, documents to be submitted, etc will remain the same as earlier. Candidates can apply for the posts till 22. 5. 2021.

1. Name of the post: Sub- Inspector (Enforcement)

No of post: 4

Essential Qualification: 1. Graduate of any recognised university.
2. Knowledge of Manipuri.
3. Height 5 ft. 4 inches (Minimum)
4. Minimum Chest Measurements 31″-33″
Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi

Pay Band: Rs. 5200-20200 + GP -2800 (Pay Matrix Level – 6)

2. Name of the post: Assistant Sub-Inspector (Taxes)

No of post: 11

Essential Qualification: PUC or Equivalent of any recognised University/ Board.
Desirable: 1. Knowledge of Manipuri
2. Knowledge of Hindi

Pay Band: Rs. 5200-20200 + GP -1900 (Pay Matrix Level – 3)

3. Name of the post: Assistant Sub- Inspector (Enforcement)

No of post: 8

Essential Qualification: 1. PUC or equivalent of any recognised university/ Board.
2. Knowledge of Manipuri.
3. Height 5 ft. 4 inches (Minimum)
4. Minimum Chest Measurements 31″- 33″
Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi

4. Name of the post: LDC ( Office Assistant cum Computer Operator)

Essential Qualification: Graduate who have completed a course on computer Concepts (CCC) IDOS + Windows+ MS Office + Multimedia + Internet) of a Central/ State recognized Institute

Pay Band: Rs. 5200-20200 + GP -2000 (Pay Matrix Level – 4)

5. Name of the post: Driver

Essential Qualification: 1. Class- X pass/ Matriculate/ HSLC / Equivalent from a recognised Board / Institute
2. Driving experience for 3 years possessing requisite driving license

Pay Band: Rs. 5200-20200 + GP -1900 (Pay Matrix Level – 3)

6. Name of the post: Checker

No of post: 44

Essential Qualification: 1. Matriculate / Class X passed or its equivalent from a recognised University/ Board.
2. Height 5 ft.3 inches.
3. Minimum Chest measurement 31″- 38″

Pay Band: Rs. 4440- 7440 + GP- 1800 (Pay Matrix Level – 2)

7. Name of the post: Peon

No of post: 10

Essential Qualification: Matriculate/ Class X passed or its equivalent from a recognised University/ Board.
Desirable: 1. Knowledge of Hindi.
2. Good Physique.
3. Knowledge of Cycling

Pay Band: Rs. 4440- 7440 + GP- 1650 (Pay Matrix Level – 1)

8. Name of the post: Chowkidar

No of post: 5

Essential Qualification: Matriculate/ Class X passed or its equivalent from a recognised University/ Board.
Desirable : Good Physique

Pay Band: Rs. 4440- 7440 + GP- 1650 (Pay Matrix Level – 1)

Age: Minimum of 18 years and Maximum of 38 years for all the posts except for Driver where the minimum age is 21 years.

Application Fee: Rs 500/- for Unreserved Category & OBC Candidates; Rs 300/- for SC/ST.
Fee is exempted for PWD candidates

How to Apply: The willing and eligible candidates should get their names sponsored by the concerned Employment Exchange offices. The sponsored candidates should download the application form from the State government website (http//:manipur.gov.in). The completed application forms along with the required self-attested copies of certificates should be submitted on every working day between 11:00am – 5:00pm from 19th April to 22nd May, 2021 at the office of Manipur State Transport (MST) Complex, Moirangkhom, Imphal West. Only those applications duly sponsored by the respective District Employment Exchanges Office shall be accepted.

Important Dates:
— Submission of application form: 19th April to 22nd May, 2021 (11:00am – 5:00pm)
— The last date/time for acceptance of duly completed application form along with relevant documents: 22nd May, 2021 (5.00pm)
— The Date of requisition from Employment Exchange (in addition to the earlier notification): 16th April, 2021.
— Last Date of requisition from Employment Exchange: 20th May, 2021.
— The Dates for Driving Test (for drivers), Physical Test (for SI & ASI Enforcement, Checkers), Written Test and Computer Test: To be notified later.
