Directorate of Handlooms & Textiles, Government of Manipur invites online applications from interested candidates for appointment of the posts of Stenographer/ Personal Assistan / Steno – Typists Grade-III, Computer Operator, Driver, LDC, Store Asstt-cum- Daftry, Grade-IV / Peon / Chowkidar / MTS .

The total no of vacant post is 25.

Th details of the posts are mentioned below:

1. Name of the post: Stenographer / Personal Assistan / Steno – Typists Grade-III

No of post: 1

Reservation: UR- 1, ST- 0, Sc- 0, OBC M – 0, OBC MP- 0

Qualification: (1) Matriculate or its equivalent of a recognized University / Board with speed below 80 words per minute and not below 65 words per minute in shorthand (English) and a speed not less than 30 words per minute in typing (English) (Relaxable for SC / ST candidates upto 60 words per minute in shorthand and 25 words per minute in typing).

(2) Educational or other qualification relaxable in respect of Physically handicapped persons according to Government instruction issued from time to time.

Age: 30 years and below (Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC / ST candidates, Government servants, Ex-Servicemen / Retrenched personnel according to Government’s instruction)

Pay Scale: Rs.7,100/- (5200-20200 GP 1900)

2. Name of the post: Computer Operator

No of post: 1

Reservation: UR- 1, ST- 0, Sc- 0, OBC M – 0, OBC MP- 0

Qualification: (1) Degree from a recognized University.
(2) Degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized University.
OR
Passed Short Term Computer Application Course with 5 (five) years working experience in operating Computer in any departments (State / Central / Autonomous Bodies)

Age: 35 years and below (Upper age limit is relaxable for Govt. servant appointed under the Govt. of Manipur to the extent of the period of continuous service put in the post/service and by 5 years for SC / ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC. Further, a Govt Servant of SC / ST will get the facility admissible to a Govt. servant)

Pay Scale: Rs.8000/- (5200-20200 GP 2800)

3. Name of the post: Driver

No of post: 2

Qualification: i) Class-X pass / Matriculate / HSLC / Equivalent from a recognized Board/Institution.
ii) Driving experience for 3 (three) years possessing requisite driving licence.

Pay Scale: Rs.7,100/- (5200-20200 GP 1900)

Age: Minimum: 21 years.
Maximum: 38 years (Upper age limit is relaxable for Govt. servants and by 5 years for SC / ST and 3 years for OBC)

4. Name of the post: LDC

No of post: 3

Reservation: UR- 3, ST- 0, Sc- 0, OBC M – 0, OBC MP- 0

Qualification: 1. Graduate who have completed a Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) I DOS + Windows + MS Office + Multimedia + Internet) of a Central / Slate recognized Institute.
2. Candidates for direct recruitment should come through the Employment Exchanges and qualify in the recruitment examination to be held by the Department.

Age: Minimum: 18 years.
Maximum: 38 years (Upper age limit is relaxable for Govt. servants under the Govt. of Manipur and by 5 years for SC / ST with facility admissible to a Govt. servant in addition)

Pay Scale: Rs.7,200/- (5200-20200 GP 2000)

5. Name of the post: Store Asstt-cum-Daftry

Qualification: H.S.L.C. / Equivalent
Desirable :
1) Knowledge of Hindi
2) Good Physique
3) Know ledge of cyclostyles

Age: 30 years and below (Upper age limit is relaxable for Govt. servant appointed under the Govt. of Manipur to the extent of the period of continuous service put in the post / service and by 5 years for SC / ST and a Govt. Servant of SC / ST will get the additional relaxation to a Govt. servant)

Pay Scale: Rs.5,740/- (4440-7440 GP 1300)

6. Name of the post: Grade-IV / Peon / Chowkidar / MTS

No of post: 17

Reservation: UR- 10, ST- 5, Sc- 0, OBC M – 2, OBC MP- 0

Qualification: H.S.L.C. / Equivalent
Desirable:
1) Know ledge of Hindi
2) Good Physique
3) Knowledge of cyclostyles

Pay Scale: Rs.5,740/- (4440-7440 GP 1300)

Mode of Selection: Through Written Examination.
