Department of Agriculture, Government of Manipur invites application in the prescribed format from intending candidates for appointment of L.D.C / Office Assistant cum computer operator, Village Extension Worker/ Field Assistant, Driver, Peon, Chowkidar on temporary basis through sponsorship of the concerned Employment Exchanges in Manipur.

The total no of vacant post is 85. Candidates can submit the application form till 17th April, 2021.

Th details of the posts are mentioned below:

1. Name of the post: L.D.C/ Office Assistant cum computer operator

No of post: 33

Reservation: ST- 6, Sc- 1, OBC M- 2, UR- 20, PWD- 1

Qualifications: Graduate with completed course on Computer Concepts (DOS + Windows + MS Office + Multimedia + Internet) – (CCC) of a recognized institute.

Pay Scale: Rs. 21700-69100 (Level-4)

2. Name of the post: Village Extension Worker / Field Assistant

No of post: 17

Reservation: ST- 5, Sc- 1, OBC M- 5, UR- 6, PWD- 1

Qualification: P.U. Science / XII Sc. Passed

Pay Scale: RS. 19900-63200 (Level -3)

3. Name of the post: Driver

No of post: 8

Reservation: ST- 3, Sc- 0, OBC- 0, UR- 5, PWD- 0

Qualification: Matriculate / HSLC or equivalent from a recognised Board with Driving experience for 3 years possessing
requisite driving License.

Pay Scale: RS. 19900-63200 (Level -3)

4. Name of the post: Peon

No of post: 17

Reservation: ST- 5, Sc- 1, OBC M- 2, UR- 7, PWD- 2

Qualification: Matriculate / HSLC or equivalent from a recognised Board.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15700-50000 (Level-1)

5. Name of the post: Chowkidar

No of post: 10

Reservation: ST- 1, Sc- 1, OBC M- 2, UR- 5, PWD- 1

Qualification: Matriculate / HSLC or equivalent from a recognised Board.

Pay Scale: Rs. 15700-50000 (Level-1)

Age: Age of the aspiring candidate shall be as per State Government Rules / Policy on the date of the Notification.

Mode of Selection: Written test & computer skill test for the post at Sl. No. 1, written test for the post at Sl. No. 2 and driving test for the post at Sl.No.3. The date of written test, Computer skill test and driving test shall be notified separately. Modalities for the post at SI.No. 4 & 5 shall also be notified at a later date.

The modalities of the Examination shall consist of a multiple choice combined written test (MCQ) for Office Asst. Cum Comp, operator and V.E.W / F.A. comprising of General Knowledge (50 Marks) and General English (50 marks). There shall be 30 marks for computer / driving skill test in respect of Office Assistant cum computer operator & Driver.

Application Fee: Rs. 500 for UR/ OBC; Rs. 300 for ST/SC/ PH& meritorious sport persons.

How to Apply: All candidates shall should get their name sponsored by the concerned District Employment Exchange Offices and the prescribed Form complete in all respect shall be submitted to the Directorate of Agriculture as per the stipulated time and date along with IPO in favour of Director of Agriculture, Manipur.
