(i) PG Diploma/Degree in Journalism / Mass Media OR
(ii) Graduate with minimum two years journalistic experience (Journalistic experience to be desirable for candidates in difficult and border areas like North-Eastern States, Jammu & Kashmir, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman, Diu and Kutch)
(ii) Age limit : 24 to 45 years.(age as on the last day of advertisement)
(iii) Should reside in the district headquarters or within a radius of 10 kms from the district HQs/Municipal limit in the district for which he/she is being engaged.
(iv) Knowledge of computers & word processing.
(v) Possession of news gathering devices
