Name of the posts: Manipur Forest Guard
No of Post: 70
Reservation: Reservation for SC/ST/OBC Meilei/OBC Meitei Pangal & Sports Quota as per the 200 PBR.
Educational Qualification:
♦ Essential: Matriculate/ Class-X pass
♦ Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi and Manipuri
Age Limit:18 years to 38 years as on 1st October 2023
There is relaxation in upper age limit of different categories of candidates.
Pay/Remuneration: Rs.9000 pm
Mode of selection:
♦ Written Test
♦ Medical Examination
♦ Physical Test
♦ Appointment: The Candidates selected in order of the merit list shall be appointed as Forest Guard on Contract Basis on probation of 5-10 years and shall be required to join Forest Training School for undergoing 1 (one) year Training Course as prescribe in Manipur Forest Rules, 2009 and shall be considered regulation after on fulfillment of strictly monitored conditions of efficiency, competency, good conduct, apolitical conduct, etc.
Application fee:
♦ Rs.500/- for UR/OBC candidates
♦ Rs.250 for SC/ST candidates
Important Date:
♦ Issue of Application Form: 11th December 2023 to 20th December 2023 from 11 am to 4.30 pm
♦ Last Date of submission of application form: 24th December 2023.
How to apply: Application Form shall be issued to those candidates sponsored by the respective District Employment Exchange Office and the same will be available from the office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Sanjenthong, Imphal from 11 am to 4.30 pm on all working days from 11th December 2023 to 20th December 2023 on
payment of Rs. 100.
Separate application form as prescribed by the O.M. dated 17.10.1998 shall be issued to the candidates applying for appointment of Meritorious Sports Persons in relaxation of the Employment Exchange Procedure. Application Forms
completed in all respects and sealed in the prescribed envelope must be submitted personally or through registered Post so as to reach the Office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & HoFF, Sanjenthong, Imphal latest by 24lh December, 2023.
