1. Name of the posts: Junior Assistant –cum Typist (JAT)

No of Post: 50

Educational Qualification:
♦ 10+2 or equivalent
♦ Typing test with a speed of 40 w.p.m. in English or 35 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer

Age Limit: 18-27

There is relaxation in upper age limit of different categories of candidates.

Pay Matrix: (19900 – 63200) Level 02 of 7th CPC

2. Name of the posts: Junior Assistant –cum Typist (JAT)

No of Post: 52

Educational Qualification:
♦ 10+2 or equivalent
♦ typing test with a speed of 40 w.p.m. in English or 35 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer and
♦ Shorthand Test @ 80 w.p.m.

Age Limit: 18-30

There is relaxation in upper age limit of different categories of candidates.

Pay Matrix: (25500- 81100) Level 04 of 7th CPC

Scheme of Examination:
Tier I (Combined for the post of JAT and Stenographer): There will be Computer Based Test (CBT) to be conducted in bilingual (Hindi/English) form by NTA. On the basis of CBT, the merit list will be prepared keeping the number of candidates to be qualified as ten times the number of vacancies.

Tier II (For the post of JAT): The candidates qualified in the CBT of Tier I will have to undergo skill (typing) test which will be of
Hindi or English language and will be qualifying in nature subject to minimum qualifying speed as mentioned in the advertisement.

Tier II (For the post of Stenographer): The candidates qualified in the CBT of Tier I will have to undergo skill (Stenography & Typing) test which will be of Hindi or English language and will be qualifying in nature subject to minimum qualifying speed as mentioned in the advertisement.
