Name of the Post: Driver, Fireman, LDC, Mechanic, Fitter and Sweeper
No of Post: 122
Scale of Pay: Level-1 (ROP 2019) | Level-3 (ROP 2019) | Level-4 (ROP 2019)
Age Limit: 18 to 38 years below as on 08.12.2022.
There is relaxation of upper age limit for different categories of candidates.
Qualifications:
♦ Fireman:
i) Passed HSLC / Matriculale or its equivalent examination from a recognized University / Board.
ii) Heighl 5’6” relaxable to 5’5” in case of ST/SC candidates.
iii) Chest 32″ – 34″ with a normal expansion of at least 2″.
♦ Driver:
i) Matriculate / HSLC or its equivalent front a recognized University / Board.
ii) Holder of Driving License (Heavy) for at least 1 (one) year
iii) Height 5’6″ relaxable to 5’5″ in case of ST/SC Candidates.
♦ L.D.C:
i) Graduate who have completed a Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) DOS + Windows + MS Office + Multimedia + Internet) of a Central/ State recognized Institute.
ii) Candidate for direct recruitment should come through the Employment Exchange and qualify in the recruitment examination to be held by the Department in the following subjects.
♦ Mechanic:
i) Matriculation / HSLC or its equivalent from a recognized University / lnstitute / Board.
ii) ITI Certificate in the trade of Motor Mechanic/Electrical/Welding & Sheet Metal
iii) Holder or Driving License (Heavy) for at least 3 (three) years
iv) Height 5′ 6″ relaxable to 5*5” in case of ST/SC.
v) Chest 32” – 34″ (with normal expansion of a least 2″)
♦ Fitter:
i) Passed HSLC or Matriculate from a recognized University / Board.
ii) Holder of I.T.I Certificate in the trade of Motor Mechanic.
♦ Sweeper: Passed HSLC or Matriculate from a recognized University / Board.
Mode of Selection:
Candidates for the post of Fireman. Driver, ‘ Mechanic and Fitter will be tested in the recruitment test:
i) Physical Efficiency Test: : 40 marks.
ii) Written Test: 40 marks.
iii) Viva Voce: 20 marks.
Candidates who qualify in the physical lest will be called for interview / viva voce
Important Date: Date of submission of the list of the candidates sponsored by Employment Exchanges: Not later than 23.12.2022.
