Educational Qualification:
Degree of a recognized University with Hindi as the main subject. Proficiency in English specifically for the purpose of the translation. Certificate/Diploma course in translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa of at least one-year duration from a recognized University/Institution approved by Government.

Given the fact that the major work of Assistant Grade-III (Hindi) would be a translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa, possession of Skill for Hindi Typing would also be required. To assess the same, Hindi Typing with a speed of 30 words per minute will be tested during the period of probation. Confirmation of probation shall be subject to the candidate qualifying for the prescribed Typing Test.

Age limit: 28 years

Age Relaxation: Relaxation of age limits and other concessions would be provided to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other category of persons as directed by Government of India from time to time.

Application fee: Rs. 500. However, SC / ST / PwBD and Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
