KV Tamenglong Recruitment 2021 for PRT, TGT, Computer Instructor and other posts
Kendriya Vidyalaya Tamenlong invites applications for a interview-walk-interview for preparing a panel of teachers on purely contractual basis which is valid for the Academic Session 2021-2022 for the posts of TGT (English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Sanskrit), PRT, Computer Instructor, Nurse, Sports Coach, Art and Craft Teacher, Yoga Teacher, Dance Coach, Counselor. The Panel will be used to engage the required teachers if there is any vacancy/need arises during the academic session: 2021-2022 otherwise it’s a panel only. Interested candidates may visit KV,Tamenglong website: https://tamenglong.kvs.ac.in and the candidates shall apply only after ensuring the eligibility criteria given in the website as per the KVS Guidelines.
The detail of the recruitment is mentioned below:
1. Name of the post: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Hindi/ English / Sanskrit / Mathematics / Science / Social Science
Qualification: 1) Four years Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate:
OR
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and in aggregate. The electives subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects as under:
a) For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all the three Years.
b) For TGT (English): English a subject in all the three year
c) For TGT (Mathematics) : Bachelor Degree in Mathematics in all the three years with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, electronics, Computer Science, Statistics.
d) TGT (Social Science): Any two of the following: History, Geography, Economics and Political Science of which one must be either History or Geography in all three years of graduation with at least 50% marks.
e) For TGT (Sanskrit) Sanskrit as a subject in all the three years.
f) For TGT (Science) – Botany, Zoology and Chemistry.
2) B. Ed or equivalent degree from recognized University
3) *Pass in CTET/State TET paper-II conducted by CBSE/State Govt.
4) Competence to teach through English & Hindi Medium.
* NOTE : Preference will be given to CTET Passed candidates.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications
2. Name of the post: PRT (Primary Teacher)
Qualification: 1) Senior Secondary / Intermediate (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks
2) 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR 2-year Diploma in Education(Special Education)
3) **Pass in CTET/ State TET paper I conducted by CBSE / State Govt.
4) Competence to teach through Hindi & English medium.
**Note: Preference will be given to CTET passed candidates.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications
3. Name of the post: PRT (Music)
Qualification: (i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree in Music or equivalent from a recognized University.
(ii) Competence to teach through English/Hindi medium.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
**Note: For the post of Primary Teacher (Music), the candidates who have obtained Diploma in Music are not eligible to apply.
4. Name of the post: Computer Instructor
Qualification: 1) At least 50% marks in aggregate in any of the following:
B.E. or B.Tech. (Computer Science /IT) from a recognized University or Equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution /university recognized by the Govt. of India.
OR
B.E or B.Tech.(any stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computers form recognized University
OR
M.Sc. ( computer Science )/ MCA or Equivalent from a recognized University
OR
B.Sc. (Computer Science ) / BCA or Equivalent and Post Graduate degree in any subject from a recognized University
OR
Post Graduate Diploma in Computer and Post Graduate degree in any subject form recognized University.
OR
‘B’ Level from DOEACC and Post Graduate degree in any subject.
OR
‘C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’ Ministry of information and communication Technology and Graduation.
2) Competence to teach through Hindi & English medium
5. Name of the post: Nurse
Qualification: (i) Diploma/Degree in Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. in nursing with a valid registration in the Nursing council.
(ii) Proficiency in Hindi and English.
Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.
* Experienced will be preferred.
6. Name of the post: Physical Education Instructor / Game & Sports Coach
Qualification: (i) Bachelor Degree in Physical Education or equivalent.
(ii) B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed/National Certificate holder/Certificate from NIC/SAI.
(iii) *Professional coaches in Kabaddi, KHO-KHO and Basketball will be preferred.
(iii) Proficiency in Hindi and English.
Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.
7. Name of the post: Educational Counselor
Qualification: M.A/M.Sc (Psychology) from a recognized college or University and regular 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling.
OR
M.A./M.Sc/M.Com with B.Ed/M.Ed and regular 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling.
Desirable: Minimum of One year Experience in Providing Career / Educational Counseling to students at schools.

Working knowledge and experience in Placement Bureaus.
(OR)
Registration with Rehabilitation Council of India as Vocational Counsellor.
Proficiency in English and Hindi.
8. Name of the post: Yoga Instructor
Qualification: (i) Bachelor’s Degree with one year training in Yoga from recognized university.
(ii) Proficiency in Hindi and English.
Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.
9. Name of the post: Dance Coach
Qualification: i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Dance or equivalent from a recognized University.
ii) Competence to teach through English and Hindi medium.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications
10. Name of the post: Art and Craft Teacher
Qualification: Five Years’ recognized Diploma in drawing and painting / sculpture / Graphic Art.
OR,
Bachelor’s Degree in drawing and painting/ sculpture/ Graphic Art.
OR,
Equivalent Recognized Degree
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications
Special provision: Relaxation in CTET – In the absence of CTET qualified candidates, candidate without CTET qualification may be considered on merit in the selection and if otherwise eligible as per KVS recruitment rules.
Mode of Interview: It will be Personal Interview but written test may also be conducted if the number of eligible candidates for a particular post is very huge in which case only those selected on the basis of written test will be called for interview.
How to Apply: Candidates who wish to apply, must come to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner (New Office) , Tamenglong for interview with two passport size photographs (colour) and testimonials in original with 2 sets of self-attested photocopy on 25.03.2020 at 9:00 AM.
