1. Name of the Post: Contractual Teacher

Subject: History/Political Science/ Geography/ Economics

Qualification:

1. Master’s degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline

2. Eminent and professional scholar in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and must have published work of high quality and actively engaged in research and training.

Desirable Qualification:

– Must have appeared for UPSC/State Public Service Commission Civil Services Mains Examination.

– Preference will be given to the candidates who have appeared for interview too.

2. Name of the Post: Computer Operator

No of Post: 1

Subject: Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics/Chemistry/ Life Sciences

Qualification:

1. Master’s degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline

2. Eminent and professional scholar in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and must have published work of high quality and actively engaged in research and training.

Desirable Qualification:

– Must have appeared for UPSC/State Public Service Commission Civil Services Mains Examination.

– Preference will be given to the candidates who have appeared for interview too.

Salary: A contractual teacher will be paid a consolidated fixed pay of Rs. 1,15, 000/ per month (Taxes as applicable)

Terms and Conditions:
♦ Service of the Contractual teachers will be co-terminus with the Centre.

♦ Contractual teachers must be available at least 06 hours daily in the University.

♦ The minimum direct teaching-learning process must involve 20-25 hours per week.

♦ Contractual teachers may be entitled 12 leaves in a calendar year excluding the public holidays. All other leaves shall be counted as leave without pay, subject to a maximum period of one month.

The ‘Name of the post Applied for’ must be clearly mentioned on the envelope containing the application.

Application Fee: Rs. 1000/- for UR/OBC/EWS candidates and Rs. 400/- for SC/ST/PwD candidates
