Manipur University invites applications from SC and OBC candidates only for admission to programs/courses offered by Dr. Ambedkar Centre of Excellence (DACE), Manipur University under the scheme of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. The Course Fees will be sponsored by the MoSJ&E.

Details for MU DACE Admission Scheme 2024
1. Name of Program/Course: UPSC/MPSC CSE
Duration: 1 year
Intake: 70
Category: SC and OBC only
Course Fee: Course Fee of Rs. 75,000/- will be sponsored by the MoSJ&E
2. Name of Program/Course: Banking/ Insurance/ PSU/ SSC/ RRB (Group A and B examinations)
Duration: 9 months
Intake: 30
Category: SC and OBC only
Course Fee: Course Fee of Rs. 50,000/- will be sponsored by the MoSJ&E
The course fee will be released by Dr. Ambedkar Foundation, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, GoI, in two installments of 50% each through DBT in the candidate’s Aadhar-enabled bank account. The candidate shall be required to remit the fee to the University immediately and in any case not exceeding 15 days on receipt of the course fee.
Eligibility Criteria of MU DACE Admission Scheme 2024:
1. The candidate must belong to a Schedule Caste or Other Backward Class community.
2. The candidate must hold a graduate degree from a recognized institution or possess an equivalent qualification or must be in the final semester of graduation.
3. Age limit: SC (21 – 37 years), OBC (21-35 years)
4. Nationality : Indian (preferable to Domicile of Manipur)
5. The candidate has not received any monetary benefit from any of the other schemes by the Government of India, States/UTs, or any other funding agency.
Selection Procedure of MU DACE Admission Scheme 2024: Through an Admission Test conducted by the DACE, MU as per merit basis.
Documents to be submitted/uploaded with the application form:
One colour passport size photo, One self-attested copy of age proof certificate, One self-attested copies of Mark Sheets and certificates from matriculation up to highest degree, One self-attested copy of caste certificate, One self-attested copy of Aadhar Card and Details of Aadhar-enabled bank account.
