Foreigners Tribunal Assam Recruitment 2021 for various posts — 33 vacancies
Deputy Commissioner, Cachar & Chairperson Recruitment Committee, Govt of Assam invites online applications from citizen of India as defined in Articles 5 & 8 of the Constitution of India from the intending candidates for filling up the temporary posts which are lying vacant in the office of the Foreigner’s Tribunal 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th, Cachar.
The total number of vacant posts is 33. Candidates can apply till 29.03.2021 (upto midnight).

1. Name of post: Stenographer
No. of post: 5
Qualification: (A) HSSLCE passed
(B) Diploma / Certificate in Stenography from ITI / Polytechnic.
(C) Minimum 6 (six) months Diploma / Certificate in Computer Application with good working knowledge of office productivity software tools like MS Window, Excel, PowerPoint, DTP (English / Assamese) and Internet Processing etc.
Scale of pay: Rs. 14,000 – Rs. 60,000+GP 7,400
2. Name of the post: LDA
No. of post: 2
Qualification: (A) HSSLCE passed
(B) Minimum 6 (six) months Diploma / Certificate in Computer Application with good working knowledge of office productivity software tools like MS Window, Excel, PowerPoint, DTP (English / Assamese) and Internet Processing etc.
Scale of pay: Rs. 14,000 – Rs. 60,500+GP,6,200
3. Name of the post: Typist
No. of post: 3
Qualification: (A) HSLCE passed
(B) Minimum 6 (six) months Diploma / Certificate in Computer Application with good working knowledge of office productivity software tools like MS Window, Excel, PowerPoint, DTP (English/ Assamese) and Internet Processing etc.
Scale of pay: Rs. 14,000- Rs. 60,500+GP 6,200
4. Name of the post: Bench Asstt.

Qualification: (A) HSSLCE passed
(B) Minimum 6 (six) months Diploma / Certificate in Computer Application with good working knowledge of office productivity software tools like MS Window, Excel, PowerPoint, DTP (English / Assamese) and Internet Processing etc.
Scale of pay: Rs. 14,000- Rs. 60,500+GP6,200
5. Name of the post: Copyist

Qualification: (A) HSSLCE passed.
(B) Minimum 6 (six) months Diploma / Certificate in Computer Application with good working knowledge of office productivity software tools like MS Window, Excel, PowerPoint, DTP (English / Bengali) and Internet Processing etc.
Scale of pay: Rs. 9,000/- PM (fixed)
6. Name of the post: Date Entry Operator
No.of post: 11
Qualification: (A) HSSLCE passed
(B) Minimum 6 (six) months Diploma / Certificate in Computer Application with a good working knowledge of office productivity software tools like MS Window, Excel, PowerPoint, DTP( English / Bengali) and Internet Processing etc.
Scale of pay: RS. 10,000 PM ( fixed)
7. Name of the post: Office Peon
No.of post: 1
Qualification: Class VIII passed
Scale of pay: Rs. 12000 to Rs. 37000 + GP Rs. 39000
8. Name of the post: Chowkidar
No. of post: 1
Qualification: Class VIII passed
Scale of pay: Rs. 12000 to Rs. 37000 + GP Rs. 39000
Age Limit: The applicant should not be less than 18 years and more than 40 years of age as on 01/01/2021.
Mode of Selection: Written Test Examination comprising of the following subjects:
A) (i) General English (20 marks)
(ii) General knowledge (20 marks)
(iii) Quantitative Aptitude (20 marks)
B) Knowledge of Computer (Theory) (20 marks)
C) Language skills in Bengali (20 marks)
After the written test, the shortlisted candidates Will have to appear in a Computer Proficiency Test
D) Computer Proficiency (Practical) (other than the post of Stenographer / Steno Skill Test) (50marks)
Total of marks: 150
e) Time of examination: 2 hours
