West Bengal Health & Family Welfare Department Recruitment 2021 for Medical Officer, Staff Nurse, Medical Laboratory Technician — 170 posts
Health & Family Health Welfare Department , Government of West Bengal invites for engagement (on contractual basis) of Full Time Medical Officer (FTMO), Staff Nurse and Medical Laboratory Technician for the approved U-PHCs in Asansol Municipal Corporation and Durgapur Municipal Corporation of Paschim Bardhaman district. The total number of vacant posts is 170.

1. Name of the Post: FTMO
No. of post: 66
Eligibility criteria: 1) MBBS from a MCI recognised Institute with 1 year compulsory Internship. Must be registered under West Bengal Medical Council.
2) (Weightage will be given for higher Qualification.)
Monthly Remuneration (Consolidated): Rs. 60000
Mode of Selection: Academic & Interview
2. Name of the Post: Staff Nurse
No. of post: 64
Eligibility criteria: 1) Completed GNM training course from an Institute recognised by the Indian Nursing Council / W.B. Nursing Council. OR
2) The candidate should have completed B. Sc. Nursing Course
3) Must be registered under W.B. Nursing Council.
4) Candidate should have proficiency in local language.
Monthly Remuneration (Consolidated): Rs 25000
Mode of Selection: Academic & Interview
3. Name of the Post: Lab Tech
No. of post: 40
Eligibility criteria: 1) Higher Secondary passed (10+2) from a recognized Board / lnstitute with Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics and Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology recognized by the West Bengal State Medical Faculty / AICTE.
2) Knowledge in computer, MS Office, internet is required, candidates will have to obtain at least 50% marks in computer test, failing which the candidature will be treated as cancelled.
Monthly Remuneration (Consolidated): Rs. 22000
Mode of Selection: Academic & Computer Test
