NMDC Limited Recruitment 2021 for 304 posts | Apply Online or Offline
NMDC Limited, a Navaratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India invites applications from suitable persons for the posts of Field Attendant, Maintenance Assistant (Mech), Maintenance Assistant (Elect), Blaster GR-II and MCO GR – III for Bailadila Iron Ore Mine , Kirandul Complex and Bailadila Iron Ore Mine, Bacheli Complex in Chhattisgarh State.
The total number of vacant posts is 304. Candidates can apply both in offline and online mode.

1. Name of the post: Field Attendant (Trainee) (RS – 01)
No. of post: 65
Qualification: Middle Pass or ITI
Scale of pay: 18100-3%- 31850
2. Name of the post: Maintenance Assistant (Mech) ( Trainee) (RS – 02)
No. of post: 148
Qualification: ITI in Welding / Fitter/ Machinist / Motor Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic / Auto Electrician.
Scale of pay: 18700-3%-32940
3. Name of post: Maintenance Assistant (Elect) (Trainee) (RS-02)
No. of post: 81
Qualification: ITI in Electrical Trade
Scale of pay: 18700-3%-32940
4. Name of post: Blaster GR-II (Trainee) (RS-04)
No. of post: 1
Qualification: Matric / ITI with Blaster / Mining Mate certificate.
Experience: 3 years in blasting operation
Scale of pay: 19900-3%-35040
5. Name of post: MCO GR – III (Trainee) (RS – 04)
No. of post: 9
Qualification: Three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
Scale of pay: 19900-3%-35040
Age Limit: The applicant should not be less than 18 years and more than 30 years of age.
Mode of Selection: The mode of selection consists of (1) Written Test and (2) Physical Ability test for post at Sl. No1. of clause 2.0. The mode of selection for post at Sl. No. 2, 3, 4 & 5 of clause 2.0 consists of (1) Written Test and (2) Trade Test. The maximum marks for written test will be 100 marks and the second level test (Physical Ability Test/ Trade Test) will be of qualifying nature.
The Written Test question paper for Field Attendant (Trainee) Post shall consist of the following:
Subject: a) General Knowledge (70 marks)
b) Numerical and reasoning ability (30 marks)
The Written Test question paper for the post of Maintenance Assistant (Mech) (Trainee), Maintenance Assistant (Elect) (Trainee) , Blaster GR-II ( trainee) and MCO GR- I ( Trainee) shall consist of the following:
Part- I: Subjects:
a) Subject Knowledge (on specific trade) (30 marks)
Part – II: Subjects
b) General Knowledge (50 marks)
c) Numerical and reasoning ability (20 marks)
Application Fee: An amount of Rs 150/- is to be paid by all the candidates. No fee for SC / ST / PwD / Ex-Servicemen / Departmental Candidates
How to Apply: Applications will be considered both in online as well as off-line mode. The candidate has to apply only in one mode i.e., either on-line or off-line.
On-line mode:
i) Eligible candidates would be required to apply online through NMDC website www.nmdc.co.in (link available on the “Careers” page of the website).
ii) The link will be available/ activated from 10:00 AM on 11.03.2021 to 11.59 PM on 31.03.2021
Off line mode:
i) Candidates should send duly filled application in the prescribed format as specified in Annexure-I of notification on or before 15.04.2021 to the following address: “Post Box No. 1383, Post Office, Humayun Nagar, Hyderabad, Telangana State, Pin-500028”.
ii) Candidates are required to super scribe on the envelope i.e., the Employment notification number, name of the post and name of the Complex / Project for which they are applying, while sending the application without which such applications are liable to be rejected.
