Mail Motor Service, Hyderabad invites applications from eligible Indian citizens to fill up the posts of MV Electrician and Painter. The details of the post are indicated below:
Name of the posts: MV Electrician and Painter

Salary: Pay scale of Posts: Rs. 19,900/-(Pay Matrix Level-2 of 7th CPC) [i.e. Rs.5200-20200 with Grade pay 1900 of old pay scale of 6th CPC] + All allowances admissible from time to time.
Qualifications: A certificate in the respective Trade from any Technical Institution recognized by the Government or 8th Standard pass with Experience of 1 year in the respective Trade.
Age: Age between 18 to 30 years as on 01-07-2019. [Relaxable 3 years for OBC].
Selection process: Selection shall be made on the basis of selection on the basis following Trade Tests.
Trade Test for M.V.Electrician:
i) Must be able to locate and rectify any electrical faults on all standard vehicles and motor cycles.
ii) He must have a good practical knowledge of all major repairs to vehicles electrical equipment.
iii) He must be able to install and connect up electric motors and portable electrically driven tools.
iv) He must be able to carry out any repairs required to portable electrical tools.
v) He must be conversant with the principles of the winding of armatures and filed coils and generators and motors.
vi) He must have thorough knowledge of the maintenance and repairs of secondary batteries.
Trade Test for Painter:
i) Do simple estimating for materials.
ii) Do shaded lettering in any size and have knowledge of other kinds of decorative lettering.
iii) Must have a good knowledge of the mixing and application of all paints, varnishes, fillers, enamels, polishes and distempers in use.
iv) Mark out and paint any badge in several colours from a drawing.
v) Must know the number of coats of paints required for various jobs and be able to estimate quantities with a fair degree of accuracy.
