Qualifications
(i) Should hold a degree from a recognised university.
(ii) Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to Intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent. Candidates with a graduation after a diploma are also eligible, provided the diploma includes physics and mathematics.

Technical (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics)
Qualification
(i) Should hold an Engineering degree from a recognized university in Naval Architecture, Mechanical, Marine, Automotive, Mechatronics, Industrial and Production, Metallurgy, Design, Aeronautical, or Aerospace.
OR Equivalent qualification in any of the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of Engineers (India), exempted from section ‘A’ and ‘B’ of the associate membership examination (AMIE).
(ii) Should hold an Engineering degree from a recognized university in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Instrumentation and Control, Electronics and Communication, Power Engineering, or Power Electronics.
OR Equivalent qualification in the above disciplines recognised by the Institutes of Engineers (India), exempted from section ‘A’ and ‘B’ of AMIE.
(iii) Mathematics and Physics as subjects up to intermediate or class XII of the 10+2+3 scheme of education or equivalent. Candidates with a graduation after a diploma are also eligible, provided the diploma includes physics and mathematics.
