Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) invites applications from willing and intending candidates for engagement of staff nurse, technician, assistant, sweeper and  manifold boy posts for management of COVID Block-1, 2 & 3, JNIMS on contract and daily wage bases. The nature of post of Staff Nurses will be of for a period of 3 months extendable from time to time, while that of remaining posts are of daily wage basis for a period of 6 months extendable from time to time.

The details of the posts are mentioned below:

1. Name of the Post: Staff Nurses

No of Post: 53

Qualification: Essential: i) Higher Secondary (10+2)
ii) Registered A-Grade Nurses (Sr. Certificate / GNM) from a recognized Institute or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized College

Desirable: i) Knowledge of Manipur, Hindi & English
ii) Service experience in a 100 bedded hospital

Preferable: Preference will be given to those who have working experience in ICU

Consolidated pay per month: Rs. 13,600/-

2. Name of the Post: O.T. Technician

No of Post: 4

Qualification: Essential: i) 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized Institute / Board or University with Biology as a subject

ii) Diploma in OT Technician Course from a recognized Institute

Preferable: 3 year experience of working as OT Assistant.

Daily Wage Rate: Rs.250/-

3. Name of the Post: CSSD Technical Assistant

No of Post: 2

Qualification:  Essential: i). B.Sc. from recognized Institute

ii). Training in Central Sterilization Room Assistant Course Techniques from a recognised Hospital / Institute

Desirable: i) Working experience of 1 year.
ii) Knowledge of Manipuri & Local dialect

Daily Wage Rate: Rs.250/-

4. Name of the Post: Sweeper

No of Post: 52

Qualification: 10 passed or its equivalent from a recognized university or board.

Daily Wage Rate: Rs.250/-

5. Name of the Post: Manifold Boy

No of Post: 2

Qualification: 10 passed or its equivalent from a recognized university or board.

Daily Wage Rate: Rs.250/-

Age Limit of JNIMS Recruitment 2021 for various posts: 38 years and below (Upper age limit relaxable upto the 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC candidates & by 5 years for candidates of State government service and 10 (ten) year for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) vide O.M. No.9/6/2007- SC / ST / OBC / DP dated 20/03/2010 as on 01.06.2021.
