Social Welfare Manipur Recruitment 2021 for various posts | Apply for 156 posts
Social Welfare Manipur Government invites applications in prescribed format from the intending candidates for recruitment of 156 (one hundred fifty six) posts of Supervisors, lnspectors, Stenographers, LDA / Office Assistant, Drivers, Sweepers, Chowkidars in Social Welfare Department on temporary basis through sponsorship of Concerned Employment Exchange Offices, Manipur.
Willing candidates are required to see the qualifications, age limits and important dates.
The details of the posts are mentioned below:
1. Name of the post: Supervisor (Fresh)
No of post: 45
Qualifications:
Essential: Female Graduates preferably Sociology / Social Work / Home Science / Food & Nutrition / Psychology from a recognized University.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Application.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200- 20200 + 2800 (Grade Pay)
2. Name of the post: Supervisor (Promotion for Anganwadi Worker)
No of post: 45
Qualifications:
Essential: Graduate Anganwadi Workers with 10 (ten) years experience as Anganwadi Workers and who have completed Job Course Training subject to a maximum age relaxation of 10 (ten) years or upto the age of 48(forty eight) years whichever is earlier. The mode of promotion shall be through a competitive examination from amongst eligible AWW’s.
Desirable: 1.Knowledge of Computer Application.
2. Knowledge of Manipuri / local dialect.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200- 20200 + 2800 (Grade Pay)
3. Name of the post: lnspector (Statistics) (re-designated/renamed from Statistical Assistant)
No of post: 11
Qualifications:
Essential: Graduates with Statistics / Mathematics / Economics from a recognized University.
Desirable:1.Knowledge of Computer Application.
2. Knowledge of Manipuri / local dialect.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200- 20200 + 2800 (Grade Pay)
4. Name of the post: Stenographer- Grade III
No of post: 4
Qualifications: (i) Must have passed Graduate from a recognized University
(ii) Must have passed short hand examination conducted by an institute recognized by the Government of Manipur
(iii) Must have such knowledge or qualification in computer operation.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – 20200 + 1900 (Grade Pay)
5. Name of the post: LDA / Office Assistant
No of post: 14
Qualifications:
Essential: Graduate who have completed a Course on Computer Concepts (CCC)(DOS + windows + MS Office + Multimedia + + Interest) of a Central / State recognized Institute.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – 20200 + 2000 (Grade Pay)
6. Name of the post: Driver
No of post: 4
Qualifications:
Essential: i) Class-X pass / Matriculate / HSLC from a recognized Board/ lnstitution.
ii) Driving experience for 3 years possessing requisite driving licence
Desirable: Knowledge of Manipuri & Hindi
Pay Scale: Rs.5200- 20200 + 1900(Grade Pay)
7. Name of the post: Grade IV / Peon
No of post: 25
Qualifications:
Essential: At least HSLC or its equivalent from a recognized Board / lnstitute
Desirable: 1. Knowledge of Hindi
2. Good Physique
3. Knowledge of cycling
Pay Scale: Rs.4400 – 7440+1300 (Grade Pay)
8. Name of the post: Sweeper
No of post: 4
Qualifications:
Essential: At least HSLC or its equivalent from a recognized Board / lnstitute
Desirable: 1. Knowledge of Hindi
2. Good Physique
Pay Scale: Rs.4400 – 7440 + 1300 (Grade Pay)
9. Name of the post: Chowkidar
No of post: 4
Qualifications:
Essential: 1. At least HSLC or its equivalent from a recognized Board / lnstitute
2. Good Physique
Desirable: 1. Military Service Knowledge of Hindi
Pay Scale: Rs.4400 – 7440 + 1650 (Grade Pay)
Age Limits: 38 yrs. & Below. Upper age limit is relaxable for Govt. Servants as per rules. 5 yrs. relaxation for SC & ST candidate (i.e. 43 yrs.) & 3 yrs. for OBC Candidates (i.e. 41 years) and for PWD 48 years as on last date of form submission.
Method of Selection:
For post at No. 1,2,3, and 4: I. Written test in General English and General Knowledge carrying 100 marks – 50 marks each for General English & General Knowledge of which duration of the test will be 3 hours and
II. Viva – voce / lnterview – 20 Marks.
For post at SI. No. 5: I. Written test in General English, Precis writing, Drafting and Essay carrying 100 marks- 3 hours
II. Written test in General knowledge carrying 50 marks-1 and half hours
III. Computer (Practical) carrying 50 marks -1 and half hours.
IV. Viva-voce/lnterview-20 Marks.
For post at No.6,7,8 and 9: i) Method of Selection: Viva Voce (no written test)
ii) As for post of Driver, driving test will be conducted.
Rate of Form: Prescribed application form for all categories of posts (on payment of Rs. 500/- for UR and Rs. 300/- for ST,SC,OBC,PWD etc.) can be had from Deptt’s official website ww.socialwelfare.mn.qov.in for the candidates sponsored by Employment Exchanges & other details can be had from the Office of the Director, Social Welfare, 2nd MR Gate, Imphal during office hour on all working days (from 11.00 am to 3.00 pm.)
