Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) invites online applications from the citizens of India (Meghalaya) for the recruitment of Accounts Assistant, Surveyor and other posts. The no. of vacancies is 119.

1. Name of Post: Inspector of Legal Metrology
No of Post: 1
Qualification: B.Sc with Physics as a subject OR B.E./B.Tech in any discipline; must know one state language; physically/mentally fit
Pay Scale: Level 12
2. Name of Post: Junior Engineer Grade -I (Civil)
No of Post: 109
Department: Water Resources, Sericulture & Weaving (Textiles), Housing, Community & Rural Development, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, P.H.E (Unfilled Vacancies)
Qualification: Minimum 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized institution
Pay Scale: Level 11
3. Name of Post: Draughtsman / Surveyor
No of Post: 7
Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering / Draughtsman / Surveyor; must pass physical & medical tests
Pay Scale: Level 7
4. Name of Post: Accounts Assistant
No of Post: 2
Qualification: H.S.S.L.C. or equivalent from a recognized board/university
Pay Scale: Level 6
Reservation: There is reservation for different categories of candidates
Age limit: 18-32 years as on 01.01.2025
There is age relaxation in upper age limit for different categories of candidates.
SC/ST candidates: 5 years
PWDs candidates: 5 to 15 years depending on post group and category.
Mode of Selection: The recruitment process will consist of written exam and personal interview.
Examination Centres: Shillong, Tura, Jowai, Williamnagar and Nongstoin.
Application Fee:
♦ Inspector and Junior Engineer: Rs 350/-
♦ Draughtsman and Account Assistant: Rs 320/-
♦ SC/ST (Permanent Residents of Meghalaya): Half rate.
♦ PWDs: No Fee
