Sikkim Public Service Commission (SPSC), Sikkim invites applications from eligible local candidates for filling up the posts of Sub Inspector on temporary-regular basis under Sikkim Police through Direct Recruitment. The no. of vacancies is 39.

Qualification: Any Degree from a recognized University.
Reservation: There is reservation for different categories of candidates.
Age limit: 18-25 years as on 01.06.2025
There is age relaxation in upper age limit for different categories of candidates.
Required Documents:
♦ Candidate must be in possession of either Sikkim Subject Certificate or Certificate of Identification issued by the competent authority under relevant orders of the State Government.
♦ Category Certificate issued by the competent authority of the Government of Sikkim.
♦ No Objection Certificate from the Head of Department in case of employed candidate.
♦ Should have Valid Local Employment Card issued by the appropriate authority of the Govt of Sikkim.
♦ Marital Status certificate (for female candidate). In case of married women candidate, COI/SSC of husband should be enclosed.
Mode of Selection: The recruitment process will consist of Physical Standards Test (PST), Documentation, Written Examination under OMR Based / Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and Medical Examination.
Minimum physical standards:
Males – Height: 5’3″, Weight: 50 kg, Chest: 32″ (2″ expansion)
Females – Height: 5′, Weight: 45 kg, Chest not applicable.
