Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal invites applications from intending eligible candidates for appointment to the of Project Consultant and Assistant Research Officer on contractual basis for the Project “National One Health Programme for Prevention and Control of Zoonoses”, funded by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt, of India, in the Department of Microbiology, RIMS, Imphal.

1. Name of Post: Project Consultant
No of Post: 1
Qualification: Medical Graduate with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma (preferably in Epidemiology or Public Health such as MD, MPH, DPH, MAE, PhD etc. or Microbiology)
Or
Veterinary graduate with post graduate degree in Microbiology
Or
Medical Graduate with 2 years’ experience in related field
Or
Master’s degree in medical microbiology with at least 3 year experience after Master Degree
Age Limit: 50 yrs (relaxable for highly qualified candidates)
Salary: Rs. 60,000
2. Name of Post: Assistant Research Officer
No of Post: 1
Qualification: Master’s Degree in Medical Microbiology or Biotechnology from recognised University
Age Limit: 35 yrs (relaxable for highly qualified candidates)
Salary: Rs. 35,000
