Punjab & Sind Bank invites applications invites applications from Indian Citizens for Male Hockey Players for its Hockey Academy on Scholarship / Retainership for three years under Scholarship scheme.
The details of the recruitment are indicated below:
Name of the post: Hockey player (male)
No of players: 10
Essential qualification: 10th standard examination or its equivalent
Sports Qualifications: (As on date of advertisement) Should have represented District in a State Level event or should have participated in All India School event.
Age: 15 – 18 years
Scholarship: The players will get a consolidated amount of Rs. 2000 P.M., Rs. 2500 P.M. and 3000 P.M. in first year, Second year and third year respectively.
The selected players will be provided with free education, boarding lodging. They will be attached with Lyallpur Khalsa College. Jalandhar.
Selection Process : Selection will be made on the basis of sports performance / field trials and sports qualification marks etc. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms will not entitle a candidate to be called for selection.
Application Fee: i. For SC/ ST/ PC/ Ex-servicemen Categories: Rs.50/- (intimation charge)
ii. For all others: Rs. 100/-
Mode of payment: The application fee has to be paid by Demand Draft in favour of Punjab & Sind Bank payable at Delhi.
