National Water Development Agency (NWDA), autonomous organization under Ministry of Jal Shakti (D/o Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation), Government of India invites online applications from Indian Citizens for posts of Junior Engineer (Civil), Hindi Translator, Jr. Accounts Officer, Upper Division Clerk, Stenographer Grade – II , Lower Division Clerk for its Headquarter and various field offices located across the country.

NWDA Recruitment 2021 Details:
1. Name of the post: Junior Engineer (Civil)
No of post: 16
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognised University or equivalent.
Desirable: Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognised University or equivalent.
Pay Scale: Level – 6 (Rs.35400 – 112400)
Age: 18-27 years
2. Name of the post: Hindi Translator
No of post: 1
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
OR Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
OR Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level;
OR Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the degree level;
OR Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level;
AND Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government office, including Government of India Undertaking.

3. Name of the post: Junior Accounts Officer

Educational Qualification: i) Degree in Commerce from a recognized University/Institute. ii) Three year experience in Cash and Accounts in a Government Office/PSU/Autonomous Body/ Statutory Body.
Desirable: Candidates having CA / ICWAI / Company Secretary will be preferred.
Pay Scale: Level – 6 (Rs.35400 – 112400)
Age: 21-30 years
4. Name of the post: Upper Division Clerk
No of post: 12
Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognized University.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer operating systems, MS Word, Office, Excel, Power Point &Internet.
Pay Scale: Level – 4 (Rs. 25500 – 81100)
Age: 18-27 years
5. Name of the post: Stenographer Grade – II
No of post: 5
Educational Qualification: 12th Class passed from a recognized Board / University.
Skill (Shorthand) Test (on Computer) at the speed of 80 wpm.
Pay Scale: Level – 4 (Rs. 25500 – 81100)
Age: 18-27 years
6. Name of the post: Lower Division Clerk
No of post: 23
Educational Qualification: i) 12th Class passed from a recognized Board; and
ii) A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer operating systems, MS Word, Office, Excel, Power Point &Internet.
Pay Scale: Level -2 (Rs.19900- 63200/-)
Age: 18-27 years
Application Fee of NWDA Recruitment 2021:
— Rs.840/- (Rupees Eight Hundred and Forty only) for General & OBC category;
— Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for SC, ST, Women, EWS and PWD category
Selection Criteria of NWDA Recruitment 2021:
(i) For the posts of Junior Engineer, Hindi Translator, Junior Accounts Officer and UDC the selection will be made through a competitive Computer Based online Test.
(ii) For the posts of Stenographer Gr-II and LDC the selection will be made through a competitive Computer Based online Test and Skill Test (Shorthand/Typing)
(iii) Qualified candidates in online examination test on merit basis will be called for Shorthand / Typing Test (Qualifying only) for post mentioned at Sl. No.5 & 6. Typing Test will be conducted in English or Hindi on computer only.

Persons, who are already in Government Service, should route /submit their application through respective office/department and should submit “No Objection Certificate” obtained from the authority competent to issue such NOC at the time of Documents Verification / Final Selection otherwise their candidature will not be considered.
