Details for NVS Shillong Recruitment 2025

1. Name of Post: Counselors

Qualification: Master’s Degree (M.A/ M.Sc.) in Psychology from a recognized University or Institution with One Year Diploma in Guidance & Counseling from a recognized University or Institution.

Desirable Qualifications: Certificate courses from recognized institutes in areas like
-Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Skills
-Attention Deficit Hyper Activity Disorder (ADHD)
-Behavioural Issues and learning difficulties
-Building Emotional Intelligence and Resilience
-Adolescence Education

Work Experience: At least one year experience in Guidance & Counseling / Counseling in educational institutes of Central or State or UT Government /Public Sector Undertaking.

Age Limit: Age Above 28 years and below 50 years as on 1st June 2025.

Remuneration: Rs. 44,900/- per month

2. Name of Post: Hostel Superintendent

Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or Institution.

Desirable Qualifications: Master’s degree/B.Ed. and Proficiency in regional language which will be verified during personal talk.

Work Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in Pay Level 5 (7th CPC) or equivalent in a recognized residential school
or
7 years’ experience with at least ₹29,200/month consolidated pay in such a school
or
Ex-defence personnel with 5 years’ experience in Pay Level 5 or above.

Age Limit: Minimum Age: 35 Years and Maximum Age : Not more than 62 years as on the date of engagement i.e. 01.07.2025.

Remuneration: Rs. 35,750/- per month

Mode of Selection: Candidates will be shortlisted and will be called for walk-in interview.
