Name of Test: NTA UGC-NET 2024 for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship
Qualification:
♦ Master’s Degree or equivalent examination with at least 55% marks (without rounding off) from universities/institutions recognized by UGC OR
♦ Pursuing Master’s degree or equivalent course from universities/institutions recognized by UGC
Reservation: There is reservation for different categories of candidates
Upper age limit:
♦ For JRF: Not more than 30 years
♦ Assistant Professor and Admission to Ph.D.: There is no upper age limit
There is age relaxation in upper age limit for different categories of candidates.
Mode of Selection: The Examination shall be conducted in OMR Based mode only.
Application Fee for NTA UGC-NET 2024 Online Form:
♦ Rs.1150/- for Unreserved Category & OBC candidates
♦ Rs.600/- for Gen-EWS/ OBC-NCL candidates
♦ Rs.325/- for ST/ SC/ Third Gender
Important Dates for NTA UGC-NET 2024 Online Form:
♦ Opening date of submission of Online Application Form: 20th April 2024
♦ Last date of submission of Online Application Form: 10th May 2024 (up to 11:50 P.M)
♦ Date of Correction in the Particulars in Online Application Form: 13th May 2024 to 15th May 2024 (up to 11:50 P.M)
♦ Date of Downloading of Admit Card: To be Intimated Later

Candidates have to apply for UGC – NET June 2024 “Online” only by accessing the website: https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/; https://ugcnet.ntaonline.in. The Application Form other than online mode would not be accepted in any case. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. More than one application i.e. multiple Application Forms submitted by a candidate will be rejected.
