National Institute of Technology (NIT), Mizoram invites application for the recruitment of the posts of Superintendent, Junior Engineer, Technical Assistant, Technician, Junior Assistant and Office Attendant. The no. of vacancies is 13.

1. Name of Post: Superintendent
No of Post: 1
Qualification:
♦ Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent / Master’s Degree from a recognized University or institute in any discipline
♦ Knowledge of Computer applications viz., Word processing, Spread Sheet.
Basic Pay: Rs.34, 000
Age Limit: 18 – 30 year as on 17.03.2025
2. Name of Post: Junior Engineer
No of Post: 2
Qualification:
♦ B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
OR
Diploma in Civil/ Electrical Engineering with excellent academic record.
Basic Pay: Rs.34, 000
Age Limit: 18 – 30 year as on 17.03.2025
3. Name of Post: Technical Assistant
No of Post: 2
Qualification:
♦ B. E. / B.Tech. / MCA in relevant subject from a recognized University / institute.
OR
Diploma in Engineering in relevant Field with excellent academic record.
OR
Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Science from a recognized University or institute.
Basic Pay: Rs.34, 000
Age Limit: 18 – 30 year as on 17.03.2025
4. Name of Post: Technician
No of Post: 5
Qualification:
♦ Senior Secondary (10+2) with Science / with ITI Course in relevant trade from a Government recognized Board
OR
Secondary (10) with ITI Course in relevant trade from a Government recognized Board
OR
Diploma in Engineering in relevant Field from a Government recognized Polytechnic / Institute.
Basic Pay: Rs.21,700
Age Limit: 18 – 27 year as on 17.03.2025
5. Name of Post: Junior Assistant
No of Post: 2
Qualification:
♦ Senior Secondary (10+2) from a recognized Board, with a minimum Typing Speed of 35 w.p.m. and
♦ proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet.
Basic Pay: Rs.21,700
Age Limit: 18 – 27 year as on 17.03.2025
6. Name of Post: Office Attendant
No of Post: 1
Qualification:
♦ Senior Secondary (10+2) from a recognized Board.
Basic Pay: Rs.18, 000
Age Limit: 18 – 27 year as on 17.03.2025
Reservation: There is reservation for different categories of candidates
There is age relaxation in upper age limit for different categories of candidates.
Mode of Selection: The recruitment process may consist of Competitive Examination / Trade Test / Interview.
Application Fee:
♦ Rs.500/- for Unreserved Category & OBC candidates
♦ Rs.250/- for ST / SC candidates
♦ No fee for Women and PWBD candidates
