Name of Post: Assistant Research Officer (ARO)

Eligibility Conditions:
a. The Candidate must be a citizen of India
b. The candidate must be able to speak Manipuri or any of the Tribal dialect of Manipur.
c. The candidate must be a permanent resident of Manipur Provided that a candidate whose parent or any of his/her ancestors in his/her direct lineage are permanent resident of the State, with proper documentary proof like enrolment in the electoral roll and birth certificate will also be eligible.
Qualifications:
i. Essential: Post Graduate in Mathematics/ Economics/ Statistics / Commerce /MBA(Finance).
ii. Desirable: About 1 (one) year’s experience in data collection, analysis in a recognized institution/Govt. Department with Computer knowledge / skill
Scale of Pay: Level-9 (Rs.43,300- 1,37,100/-)
Age: 38 (thirty-eight) years and below as on 12th September, 2024 (upper age limit is relaxable for Govt servants appointed under the Govt, of Manipur to the extent of the period of continuous services put in the post / service)
Note: Age relaxation can be availed by ST Candidates only for the post. There will be no age relaxation for SC / OBC candidates as there is no post reserved for SC / OBC.

♦ Rs. 400/- for SC and ST
