Manipur University invites applications from eligible candidate for Library Trainees purely on a temporary basis for a period of one year and may be extended on the same terms and conditions for a further term, depending upon need and performance. The total no of vacancies is 15 and the last date of submission of Receipt of Application is 04 / 02 / 2021.  The date of Personal Interview shall be intimated to the shortlisted candidates only. Interview will be held at Manipur University Library, Canchipur

Name of the post: Library Trainee

No of post: 15

Essential Qualification & Experience: Post-graduate in Library & Information Science (M. Lib & Sc.) with minimum of 55% marks. Candidate shall have basic knowledge of computer and preferably working knowledge of any library software and latest ICT.

Remuneration: Monthly stipend of Rs. 8000/-

Mode of selection: Selection of candidate will be based on personal interview. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview. The selected candidates will have to work in different shifts and weekends on rotation basis (if required). Certificate of experience will be issued to those who complete at least three months of training.

Date of Personal Interview: Shall be intimated to the shortlisted candidates only.

Venue of Interview: Manipur University Library, Canchipur

experience if any (original and one photocopy).
