The Directorate of Transport, Govenment of Manipur, Imphal has invites applications in the prescribed format from intending eligible candidates for appointment to the following 129 posts on temporary basis through sponsorship of the concerned Employment Exchange in Manipur. Details of the posts are given below.
1. Inspector (Mech): 07 posts (UR-5, ST-1, OBC-1)
Essential Qualification: i) Diploma in either Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a Government recognised Institute.
ii) Knowledge of Manipuri
iii) Capacity of doing outdoor works touring and facing hardships etc
Pay Scale: Rs 9300- 34800 + GP-4200
2. Sub Inspector (Enforcement): 04 posts (UR-2, ST-1, OBC M-1)
Essential Qualification: i) Graduate from a recognised University
ii) Knowledge of Manipuri
iii) Height 5 ft 4 inches (Minimum)
iv) Minimum Chest Measurement 31″-33″.
Desirable: Knowledge of Hindi

Essential Qualification: Graduate who have completed a course on Computer concepts (CCC) IDOS + Windows + MS Office + Multimedia + Internet) of a Central/ State recognised Institute.

6. Legal Officer: 01 post (UR)
Essential Qualification: L.L.B from a recognised University with 5 (five) years experience at the Bar.
Desirable: i) Administrative experience in legal works
ii) Knowledge of Computer Applciation
iii) Knowledge of Hindi and Manipuri

7. Driver:15 posts (UR-7, ST-5, OBC M-3)
Essential Qualification: Matriculate/ Class X passed with Driving License valid for last 5 years

8. Checker: 46 posts (UR-23, ST-14, SC-1, OBC M-6, OBC MP-2)
Essential Qualification: i) Matriculate/ Class X passed or its equivalent from a recognised University/ Board
ii) Height 5 ft 3 inches
iii) Minimum Chest Measurement 31″- 38″
Desirable: Knowledge ol Hindi and Training In N.C.C.

9. Peon:10 posts (UR-5, ST-2, OBC M-2, OBC MP-1)
Essential Qualification: Matriculate/ Class X passed or its equivalent from a recognised University / Board
Desirable: i) knowledge ol Hindi.
ii) Good Physique.
iii) Knowledge of cycling.

10. Chowkidar: 06 posts (UR-3, ST-3)
Essential Qualification: Matriculate/ Class X passed or its equivalent from a recognised University/ Board.
Desirable: Good Physique.
Pay band: Rs 4440- 7440 + GP-1300
Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 38 years for all posts except Driver where the minimum age is 21 years.
The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates. Upper age limit is also relaxable for Govt, servant appointed under Government of Manipur to the extent of the period of continuous service in post / service. The eligible age should be as on 10th June, 2019 i.e. the date of notification.
Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay application fee during the time of submission of application forms — Rs. 400/- for Unreserved category and OBC candidates and Rs. 200/- for SC and ST candidates
How to Apply: The willing and eligible candidates should get their names sponsored by the concerned Employment Exchange offices. The sponsored candidates should download application form from the official website (www.manipur.gov.in) and submit the completed forms along with the required self attested copies of certificates on every working days before the last date given below at the office of the Directorate of Transport, Babupara, Imphal West.
Documents to submitted: Completed application form for the respective categories of post along with the required number of passport size photograph (3 nos.) and self attested copies of the documents (mention in the application form). Candidates claiming reservation should submit attested copies of ST/ SC/ OBC/ certificate at the time of submission of application form for verification.
