Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) is the mother of the R&D institutions such as IGCAR, RRCAT, VECC, etc., which carry out pioneering research on nuclear and accelerator technologies and industrial establishments such as NPCIL, NFC, ECIL, etc., spearheading nuclear power production, materials technology, electronics & instrumentation.
Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mysuru invites applications for the post of Stipendiary Trainees Category-I and Category-II, Technician / B-Boiler Attendant, Work Assistant / A. The total no of vacancies is 60 and the last date of online application is 22.01.2021.
The details of the posts are:
1. Name of the post: Stipendiary Trainees Category-I
No. of Posts: 11
Qualification: Diploma in Engineering – 3 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC/ B.Sc., in the relevant trades with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in Diploma.
Diploma in the disciplines concerned
Age: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 24 Years as on the closing date of application
Stipend: Rs.16000/- per month for the 1st year & Rs.18000/- for the 2nd year (during training)
Selection Method: The selection process will consist of screening test and interview.
2. Name of the post: Stipendiary Trainees Category-II
No. of Posts: 36
Qualification: Minimum 60% marks in aggregate in HSC (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
OR
Minimum 60% marks in SSC with Science & Mathematics PLUS trade certificate of not less than year duration in Chemical Plant Operator
Age: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 22 Years as on the closing date of application.
Stipend:Rs.10500/- per month for the 1st year and Rs.12500/- for the 2nd year ( during training)
Selection Method: The selection process will consist of 3 stages — Stage 1: Preliminary Test, Stage 2: Advanced Test and Stage 3: Skill Test.
3.Name of the post: Technician / B-Boiler Attendant
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification: SSC + Valid II Class Boiler Attendant’s Certificate
Age: Minimum 18 Years and Maximum 25 Years as on the closing date of application.
Pay: Rs. 21,700/- + allowance as admissible under Central Government Rules
Selection Method: The selection process will consist of 3 stages — Stage 1: Preliminary Test, Stage 2: Advanced Test and Stage 3: Skill Test.
4.Name of the post: Work Assistant / A
No. of Posts: 12
Qualification: Tenth / SSC Pass
Age: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years as on the last date of receipt of application.
Pay: Rs. 18,000/- + allowance as admissible under Central Government Rules
Selection Method: Stage-1: Preliminary Test and Stage-2 : Advanced Test.
Application fee: Rs.150/- for the post of Stipendiary Trainee Category-I & Rs.100/- for remaining posts
