IRDA recruitment 2019 for Officers on Special Duty – 45 posts

Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) invites applications from eligible officers working in PSU Insurance Companies and Financial Sector Regulators to fill up the posts of Officers on Special Duty (OSD) through deputation.

The details of the recruitment are mentioned below:

Eligibility conditions:
For Deputy General Manager – Legal: Graduation with 60% marks and LLM with 60% marks and 15 years as an Officer in PSU Insurance company / ies and / or Financial Sector Regulators with minimum 5 years in related field of work.

For Deputy General Manager – Life: Post Graduation with 60% marks and Fellow of Insurance Institute of India (FIII) or equivalent and 15 years as an Officer in LIC of India with minimum 5 years in related field of work.

For Deputy General Manager – Non Life: Post Graduation with 60% marks and Fellow of Insurance Institute of India (FIII) or equivalent with 15 years as an Officer in Insurance company/ies with minimum 5 years in related field of work.

For Assistant General Manager – Actuarial: Graduation with 60% marks and Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) with 12 years as an Officer in PSU Insurance company/ies with minimum 5 years in related field of work.

For Assistant General Manager- Accounts: Graduation with 60% and FCA / FICWA  / FCS / CFA with 12 years as an Officer in PSU Insurance company/ies and/or Financial Sector Regulators with minimum 5 years in related field of work.

For Assistant General Manager – General: Post Graduation with 60% marks and Fellow of Insurance Institute of India (FIII) or equivalent with 12 years as an Officer in PSU Insurance company/ies with minimum 5 years in related field of work.

For Assistant General Manager – IT: B.Tech (IT/CSE) or MCA or M.Tech or M.S. in IT with 60% marks with 12 years as an Officer in PSU Insurance company/ies and/or Financial Sector Regulators with minimum 5 years in related field of work.

For Assistant General Manager – Legal: Graduation with 60% marks and LL.M with 60% marks 12 years as an Officer in PSU Insurance company/ies and/or Financial Sector Regulators with minimum 5 years in related field of work.

For Assistant General Manager – Life: Post Graduation with 60% marks and Fellow of Insurance Institute of India (FIII) or equivalent with 12 years as an Officer in LIC of India with minimum 5 years in related field of work.

For Assistant General Manager- Non Life: Post Graduation with 60% marks and Fellow of Insurance Institute of India (FIII) or equivalent with 12 years as an Officer in Insurance company/ies and minimum 5 years in related field of work.

For Manager – Actuarial: Graduation with 60% marks and Pass in twelve (12) papers of the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) with 8 years as an Officer in PSU Insurance company/ies and minimum 5 years in related field of work.

For Manager – Accounts: Graduation with 60% ACA / AICWA / ACS / CFA with 8 years as an Officer in PSU Insurance company/ies and/or Financial Sector Regulators and minimum 5 years in related field of work.

For Manager – General: Graduation with 60% marks and Fellow of Insurance Institute of India (FIII) or equivalent with 8 years as an Officer in PSU Insurance company/ies and minimum 5 years in related field of work.

For Manager – General – Estates: Graduation with 60% marks and Fellow of Insurance Institute of India (FIII) or equivalent with 8 years as an Officer in PSU Insurance company/ies and minimum 5 years in related field of work.

For Manager – IT: B.Tech (IT/CSE) or MCA or M.Tech or M.S. in IT with 60% marks with 8 years as an Officer in PSU Insurance company/ies and/or Financial Sector Regulators with minimum 5 years in related field of work.

For Manager – Life: Graduation with 60% marks and Fellow of Insurance Institute of India (FIII) or equivalent with 8 years as an Officer in LIC of India with minimum 5 years in related field of work.

For Manager – Non Life: Graduation with 60% marks and Fellow of Insurance Institute of India (FIII) or equivalent with  8 years as an Officer in Insurance company/ies and having minimum 5 years in related field of work.

Age limit: Manager — 38 Years, Assistant General Manager — 50 Years, Deputy General Manager — 50 Years.

Important date: The last date of receipt of applications is 7th March, 2019.

How to apply: The eligible Officers may submit their applications in the prescribed format through proper channel only, i.e., through their cadre controlling authority so as to reach the undersigned on or before 5 pm on 7th March, 2019.
