Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University.
Salary:  Rs. 36,900 – 1,16,600/-

2. Name of Post: Sub-Inspectors of Police (Armed Reserve)
No of Post: 366, M – 255 |  F – 111
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University.
Salary:  Rs. 36,900 – 1,16,600/-

Detailed Educational Qualification:
♦ Bachelor’s Degree from a UGC/Government recognised university on or before the date of notification.
♦ The degree must follow one of these study patterns:
10 + 2 + 3 / 4 / 5
or
10 + 3 (Diploma) + 2 / 3
or
10 + 2 + 3 (after ITI – 2 years)
♦ Distance/ Open University degrees are allowed only if you followed one of the above patterns.
Note: Direct degrees from Open Universities without these patterns are not accepted.

Reservation: There is reservation for different categories of candidates

Age limit: 20-30 years as on 01.07.2025
There is age relaxation in upper age limit for different categories of candidates.
BC/MBC/DNC: 32 years
SC/ST/Transgenders: 35 years
Destitute Widow: 37 years
Ex-servicemen: 47 years
20% Departmental Quota: 47 years

♦ Departmental candidates : ₹1000

Mode of Selection: The recruitment process will consist of written exam, PET exam, PMT exam, document verification and medical exam.
