160 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer recruitment 2019 in Air India Engineering Services Limited

Air India Engineering Services Limited has issued notice for applications from Indian Nationals to fill up various posts engineers. Eligible candidates can apply for the post in the prescribed format and appear for walk-in-interview on any working day subject to confirmation. Walk in interview will be conducted from 01.04.2019 to 12.04.2019.

Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL) is an aircraft Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organization, approved by DGCA, India under CAR 145 to undertake MRO activities in India.

The engagement will be as given hereunder through PERSONAL INTERVIEW from the open market on “Fixed Term Employment basis” (FTE)” and also to form a Wait-List for future requirements. The selected candidates will be posted in various stations of AIESL, depending upon the requirement of AIESL. Selection and empanelment does not guarantee that the candidate will be appointed immediately. Release of candidates from the panel would depend upon the requirement of AIESL and decision taken by the company in this regard. Management reserves all rights to take any decision in regard to this exercise.

Name of the post: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

The recruitment will be on a fixed term employment for a period of five years subject to extension for further period based on Company requirement for servicing, inspection, certification and other related Engineering activities on:
i. B1 & B2 to cover B737-700/800/900 aircraft fitted with CFM56 engine MRO at Trivandrum
ii. B1 to cover B777-200LR/300ER series aircraft fitted with GE- 90 engine at Nagpur
iii. B1 & B2 to cover A321/A320/A319 Aircraft fitted with IAE V2500 Engine or CFM 56-5B

iv. B1 or B2 Licence to cover ATR 42-400/500/72-212A (PWC PW120)

Eligibility: As on 01.02.2019
I) For B737-700/800/900 aircraft fitted with CFM56 engine and / or B777-200LR/300ER series aircraft fitted with GE- 90 engine:
A) Qualification:
i) Professional Qualification:
a) Must possess DGCA License to certify
b) CAR 66 CAT B1/B2 licence on B737-700/800/900 aircraft fitted with CFM56 engine.
c) CAR 66 CAT B1/B2 licence on B777-200LR/300ER series aircraft fitted with GE-90 engine.
d) Minimum one year maintenance experience as a certifying support staff with CAR 145 approved organization on B737-800/ CFM56 or B777-200LR/300ER fitted with GE- 90 as applicable
e) However, both qualified may also apply.
ii) Minimum Academic Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Indian Board/ University or equivalent from a Foreign University.

II) B1& B2 to cover A321/A320/A319 Aircraft fitted with IAE V2500 Engine or CFM 56-5B Engine:
B) Qualification:
i) Professional Qualification:
a) Must possess DGCA License to certify
b) In category B1 & B2 to cover A321/A320/A319 Aircraft fitted with IAE V250 Engine or CFM 56-5B Engine. Candidates having qualification on A320 NEO aircraft with Leap Engine will be given preference.
c) Minimum one year maintenance experience as a certifying support staff with CAR 145 approved organization on B1 & B2 to cover A321/A320/A319 Aircraft fitted with IAE V2500 Engine or CFM 56-5B Engine
d) However, both qualified may also apply.
ii) Minimum Academic Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Indian Board/ University or equivalent from a Foreign University.

NOTE: Preference will be given to the candidates having working experience of at least 01 year on B1 & B2 to cover A321/A320/A319 Aircraft fitted with IAE V2500 Engine or CFM 56-5B Engine

III) B1 or B2 Licence to cover ATR 42-400/500/72-212A (PWC PW120):
C) Qualification:
i) Professional Qualification:
e) Must possess DGCA License to certify
f) In category B1 or B2 Licence to cover ATR 42-400/500/72-212A (PWC PW120)
g) Minimum six months practical maintenance experience on the type in last 24 months as on 01.02.2019
h) However, both qualified may also apply.
ii) Minimum Academic Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Indian Board/ University or equivalent from a Foreign University.

Age: As on 01.02.2019:
General Category – Not above 55 years as on 1st February 2019
OBC – Not above 58 years as on 1st February 2019
SC/ST – Not above 60 years as on 1st February 2019
Ex-Serviceman – as per Govt. rules but not above 60 years.

Emoluments: Salary will be in the range of INR 95,000 to INR 1,28,000 pm (tax deductions will be as per applicable government rules).
